Mahmoud Ghazy's path into SEO
- 2009
Curiosity first
Mahmoud discovered SEO while researching how people build businesses online. Back then, a blog full of content could rank almost regardless of quality. His first Blogger site proved it, and the idea of building a site from nothing and watching it reach the top of Google hooked him.
- 2014
From hobby to profession
He turned SEO into his work as a freelancer, serving clients around the world until 2019. Over the same years, Google changed. The tactics that once worked started to hurt sites, and genuinely useful content began to win. That lesson is still the foundation of how Rank Zone works.
- 2019
Inside in-house teams
He worked with marketing teams at companies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the United States, and learned what businesses actually need from an SEO specialist: a clear plan, disciplined execution, and reports a decision-maker can read.
- 2021
Owning results end to end
He began leading SEO projects from audit to outcome: technical fixes, content strategy, implementation and reporting. His work since then includes engineering firms in the US, a solar installer in Germany, and logistics and B2B companies in the Gulf.

Along the way, Mahmoud found he could make complex SEO topics simple. It started with colleagues asking him to explain a single issue, then small groups, then requests for a full course. Today he teaches at training academies and has trained more than 200 SEO specialists.
